Hi! I'm Nanda. I've been where you are.
I moved to Australia in 2022, and like many immigrants, I thought the hardest part would be the beginning, the logistics, the adaptation, learning to navigate a new country. But what I discovered is that after you settle in, different challenges emerge.
You think "once I get used to this place, it'll get easier," but the truth is, the challenges just change. You start facing deeper questions about identity, purpose, belonging, who you're becoming, and what to do with your life.
That realisation, that the emotional journey doesn't end after adaptation, led me to specialise in supporting people through these often-invisible struggles that come later.
I'm an expat myself. I'm originally from Brazil and now live in Australia. I've experienced firsthand the complexity of building a life far from home, the loneliness even when surrounded by people, the guilt over missing family moments, the exhaustion of constantly adapting.
I know what it's like to question who you are now, to feel divided between two worlds, and to carry the weight of choices you've made. That lived experience shapes how I work with clients. I don't just understand it clinically, I've felt it.
My mission
I help immigrants and expats reconnect with their courage and authenticity so they can find clarity about who they are now, live with purpose and intention, and build a life with true belonging and peace, far from home, but deeply aligned with who they truly are.
My Philosophy
I don't see therapy as 'fixing' what is broken. I see it as a partnership in navigation.
A Partner in the Journey
You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you through the thickets of anxiety and the fog of transition. Together, we translate your experiences into a new narrative that honours where you've come from while making space for where you are going.

Beyond the clinical
I see myself as a partner in your journey of self-discovery. I'm not here to "fix" you or give you a checklist of coping strategies. Instead, I help you make sense of what you're feeling, understand the patterns keeping you stuck, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels authentic, not forced. Think of it as: I help you find your way back to yourself, even when everything around you has changed.
The "Saudade" connection
"Saudade" is a Portuguese word that doesn't have a direct translation in English. It's a deep, nostalgic longing for something or someone that's absent, but it's not just sadness. It's bittersweet. It holds love, memory, and the ache of distance all at once.
For me, it perfectly captures what so many immigrants carry: that complex feeling of missing home while also knowing you can't (or won't) go back to who you were before. But it can also be saudade for yourself, for a version of you that existed before everything changed, for parts of your identity you feel you've lost along the way.
It's about honouring that longing without letting it consume you. That's what this practice is about, holding space for all the complexity of living between worlds, and helping you find peace with it.
Ready to explore your own 'Saudade'?
Whether you are navigating migration, loss, or a shift in who you are, I am here to hold space for your story.
